Moonlight Cavern by Jowa
Moonlight Cavern
I had to do something in color again, because it's been so long and I felt inspired. It took about a week to finish, as I only have time to draw after work. which perhaps is a good thing in some regard, as I've realized that I look on my work with different eyes after a longer pause and might find mistakes that way, compared to doing everything over one night. Done in Paint tool Sai and Photoshop

N'a'rcon and new artbook

Journal Entry: Wed Jul 30, 2014, 10:19 AM
This weekend was the weekend of Närcon, one of the biggest conventions for Asian pop culture in Sweden. It started on Thursday, but because of work I could only go there first late on Friday. Much excited I jumped on the train with my friend Alice. We were to meet up with the rest of the crew on site, however it was so late by the time we got there that Artists Alley had already closed for the day. So we had to get the entrance tickets ourselves, which proved to be a quite difficult task as we seemingly wasn't in their register. After running around the convention area like lost cucumbers for about an hour we found the 'Cozy Room' for staff members only. There we found some funny dudes that finally got us our entrance tickets. And they had candy.
After that we put up our tent in the camping area. Because it is summer you have to sleep in a tent. It was quite late by the time but we still went back to the convention and checked out some of the stores and the disco in the garden. It was almost morning by the time we got back, so we succumbed to sleep quite immediately.

The next day we met up with the other two members of Nosebleed-Studio, Catarina and Natalia, and got our table ready in Artists Alley. We are much thankful to anyone that bought something from our table! Later that day we had an event where anyone could come to our table and get a free portrait of themselves in chibi format for an hour. The line of people was long an hour before the event even started. It made me very happy to see that people would want to wait so long just for a fast drawing, but I also felt pressure to not screw up their portrait too bad haha. We started a little earlier, but we still didn't manage to draw everyone. I feel sorry for the people that waited so long and didn't get their portrait!

There was no Artists Alley on Sunday so we decided to go home later on Saturday. We split up and me and Alice left for the train, that was three hours late... It was a hassle to wait but thanks to that we found a sushi restaurant next to the station that had possible the best sushi that I've had. In the end train didn't come and we had to jump on a buss instead. It was about 3 in the morning when I finally got home, quite tired. I look forward to next year!

The newest thing on our table was our Artbook, which collects colorful and monochrome art by all four members.

It's up in our web shop now: nosebleed-studio.com/wp/produc… It's only 200 ex, and we won't print more, so it's quite rare.

Thanks for sticking around! Cheers :iconrainbowsheep2:
